2008 "Audrey" Pinot Noir:
94-"Wine Advocate" October 2010 Issue. Review by Jay Miller. "The medium ruby-colored 2008 Pinot Noir Audrey was sourced from the biodynamically farmed Maresh Vineyard, one of the oldest and finest plantings in the Willamette Valley. It offers up a sublime, already complex perfume of wild berries, underbrush, cherry blossom, spice box, incense, raspberry, and cranberry. Velvety-textured on the palate and seamless, it is crammed with fruit, impeccably balanced, and needing time to fully express itself. It is one of the stars of a great vintage. Scott Wright began his boutique-sized winery in 2000 and moved it into its renovated facility in Carlton in 2006. He also has an import company dealing exclusively in small, family-owned Burgundy estates some of which can be sampled at the winery. The winemaker is the talented Kelley Fox whose most impressive credential is her stint working with David Lett at The Eyrie Vineyard. "
92-Allen Meadows' "Burghound" October 2010 Issue. "(Willamette Valley, 13.1%, this wine is crafted from the best 8 barrels of the vintage and named after the 'timeless icon of natural beauty, elegance, and grace, the late Audrey Hepburn') When first opened there are subtle vestiges of oak treatment from the elegant and impressively complex red and black Pinot fruit aromas but with several hours of aeration it becomes invisible. The rich and full-bodied flavors are utterly delicious with a sophisticated mouth feel to the underlying tannins, all wrapped in an impeccably well-balanced and lingering finish. Definitely worth considering. 92/2015+"
95-"Wine Enthusiast" June 2010 Issue. "All Maresh Vineyard grapes are behind this gorgeous and feminine Pinot, with soft and evocative scents of truffle, chocolate, and raspberry. Brilliant winemaking that takes all the elements of great Oregon fruit and puts them into unique focus, with winemaker Kelley Fox's trademark blend of biodynamic earthy/fungal flavors, elegant berry/cherry fruit, and just a touch of milk chocolate. The alcohol just reaches 13%."-PG
2008 "La Paulee" Pinot Noir:
91- "Wine Advocate" October 2010 Issue. Review by Jay Miller"
92-Allen Meadows' "Burghound" October 2010 Issue. "(Dundee Hills, 13.1%, $30, from vines planted in 1989) A deft touch of wood frames highly nuanced black cherry, spiced plum and cassis aromas that complement well the generous and opulent flavors that despite the richness retain a fine sense of detail and underlying tension on the mouth coating and lingering finish. Like the Audrey, this is an excellent effort and worth your attention. 92/2015+"

2007 "La Paulee" Pinot Noir:
93- "Wine Enthusiast" June 2010 Issue. "Four vineyards-Ribbon Ridge, Momtazi, Maresh, and Shea-are included here. Soft and seductive, this wine caresses the palate with silky fruit. Aromatically it weaves together red fruits, truffles and clean, earthy scents. It reaches just over 13% alcohol; truly Burgundian yet with an Oregon flair to the fruit flavors. It puts the lie to any notion that this was a poor vintage. Challenging to be sure, but great wines were made in 2007, and this was one of them."- PG
2006 “Audrey”
Pinot Noir:
92- Robert Parker’s “Wine Advocate”, Issue #179, October 2008. “It is the most complex of these wines as well as deeper and richer on the palate. Black cherry, black raspberry, toast, and hints of chocolate and coffee emerge on the mid-palate. The wine has outstanding breadth and length as well as the stuffing to evolve for 3-4 years. “

2006 “La
Paulee” Pinot Noir:
91- Parker’s “Wine Advocate”, Issue #179 October 2008. “Medium ruby-colored, the nose reveals cherry, raspberry, cedar, and earth notes. Velvety textured, bordering on opulent, the wine has superior depth and concentration, enough structure to evolve for several years, and a persistent, fruit-filled finish. Drink it from 2010-2018.
91- Wine Enthusiast: "Seductive and captivating"
90+- Steve Tanzer/ International Wine Cellar:"Impressively precise, silky texture"
90- Wine Spectator:"Vibrant and distinctive."
2005
“Audrey” Pinot Noir:

91- Burghound. “This beauty has an exceptionally expressive and refined nose with an elegant blend of high-and medium-toned notes, specifically red Pinot, blueberry, and those beguiling violet notes that can also be found on the rich, round, and sweet flavors that are admirably concentrated yet not heavy bereft of a sense of detail on the sappy and long finish where there is a touch of youthful asperity.”

2005 “La Paulee” Pinot Noir:

90- Burghound, October 2007. “A really lovely and beautifully complex nose features red and blue berry fruit aromas nuanced by a large range of lovely violet and spice hints that complement perfectly the round, rich and velvety middle weight flavors that are delicious, deep, and long but the aspect I appreciate the most is the fine balance. This should repay well short to medium-term aging, which is to say 3 to 7 years.”

Eyrie Vineyards Pinot Noir Reserve:
91- Burghound, October 2007. “A wonderfully high-toned and pure nose of freshly crushed red berry fruit nuanced by hints of cherry, raspberry and earth that merge into detailed, sweet and focused light to medium weight flavors that are deceptively supple as the finish goes on and on. This is like a fine Volnay that delivers far more flavor authority than the weight would suggest. Recommended for fans of understated Pinot.”
